Know a little more
Les Jardins de Rio is a magical and sophisticated guesthouse and event venue delivering a uniquely refined experience in Rio de Janeiro, located in the residential neighborhood of Cosme Velho. Built in the 1970s and designed by architect Roberto Bastos Cruz (a partner of the famous Oscar Niemeyer), this 1,400 m² property is nestled within a 5,000 m² tropical estate completely restored in 2013. It is an artistic, inspiring sanctuary at the intersection of nature and culture (where iconic artists like Chico Buarque and Maria Bethânia once sang), beautifully harmonizing Franco-Brazilian decor, bright white aesthetics, and rare wood elements right at the foot of Christ the Redeemer.Accommodation:
The property features eight exclusive suites, each showcasing its own distinct personality while blending high-end comfort with the art of living. The living quarters are divided into select styles, highlighting the 80 m² Presidential Suite (White) with three private terraces, the 53 m² Presidential Suite (Pink), and the 28 m² Luxury Suite (Violet). Designed as peaceful retreats, the rooms provide comfortable spaces that combine art and comfort.
Amenities and Services:
The property’s premium facilities are integrated seamlessly into a tropical landscape where plants thrive to the sound of birdsong. The main leisure highlight is the 40 m² pristine swimming pool surrounded by a tropical garden, complete with a covered and equipped bar, a pool house, and a covered outdoor dining area. Additionally, the establishment features a panoramic rooftop framing striking views of Corcovado and the Guanabara Bay (ideal for yoga or sunset viewings), a majestic 99 m² main lounge with 8-meter high ceilings and a glass roof that opens to admire the stars, the Janus Room facing the inner garden, a large 650 m² outdoor event venue, a dedicated spa space, and free Wi-Fi access.
Gastronomy:
The guesthouse offers cozy spaces for dining experiences, including its covered poolside dining room and a fully equipped covered bar. Furthermore, its excellent location in Cosme Velho, right next to the Roberto Marinho Foundation, positions guests just a few minutes away from the neighboring Laranjeiras area and the diverse culinary scenes and famous beaches of Rio de Janeiro's South Zone.
